On Saturday, March 24th, the youth of the archdiocese of Montreal celebrated Diocesan World Youth Day. The young people of the Don Bosco Youth Leadership Centre proudly participated. We were in for a special surprise.  DBYLC’s youth ministry coordinator and Coordinator of Catechism Joseph Macchiagodena received a diocesan award for his excellent work in youth ministry. The award is called “Le Prix Ville Marie” after the original name of the city of Montreal, which was Ville Marie, the “City of Mary, Mother of God.” In the picture above, we see Joseph with Archbishop Christian Lepine and Auxiliary Bishop Alain Faubert. The DBYLC sees in Joseph a true witness to the Resurrected Lord Jesus.
